    Waipahu Trolley

    On July 30th, WCA partnered with HART, Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Honua Consulting, Waipahu Town Center, Meridian  Pacific Ltd., Waipahu High School, Hawaii Plantation Village and local businesses to organize a Waipahu trolley tour.  The HEAL Project is WCA’s initiative to Help to promote local businesses that have been adversely impacted by rail construction, Enhance community spirit, Attract new clientele and customers from across Oahu, and Learn and share information about current and future construction projects that affect Waipahu.  This ongoing project was an opportunity to share about Waipahu’s rich heritage, current happenings while supporting the business community.  Tours were guided by members of the HART public involvement team, Patrick Watson of Honua Consulting, Kula Abiva and Hercules Huihui of WCA.  Mahalo to all of our partners and sponsors who made this day a success!!!  Stay tuned for future trolley tours tentatively planned for October and December 2016.  Click on the link below to see our story: http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/32580423/waipahu-businesses-relieved-as-rail-construction-moves-east Read More »
